When we try to control, we lose control
In our lives, we have so much of likes and dislikes.
We have so much of desires too – desire to control the event, desire to change the other person etc.
Why there is always disharmony in us?
It is because we always have the desire to control or change other person.
There is desire for approval too.
We are leading our lives for the sake of others.
Even though we are fully secured, we want to save money. There is no limit for needs and desires.
If I like I will move with that person and if I do not like that person I will move away from him.
Whatever event comes to me then I decide that it should happen in a certain way and try to frame that event.
I always resist what is given to me.
I am afraid that I will be joyful and happy
Can we be without these desires?
Whatever the course the life takes let it take.
Can I watch my life myself like I watch the waves of the sea? Why I am not able to do this?
What is preventing me from observing my own life?
Because I fear that I may get back joy and innocence. Whatever the joy and innocence I had when I was five years old, I fear that I might get that back.
Though we are seekers of joy and happiness, we are not the seekers of innocence.
Is it possible to get childlike happiness?
For that there is a mantra. That is NAMASHIVAYAM.
This should be chanted in sets of five.
As I chant this mantra continuously all my desires turn into ashes.
The fear of death or the feeling of insecurity will go off.
I will come to know that I am nothing but Shiva, the ever-happy person.
Shiva means Mangalam, the person who is truly happy.
OM HREEM TAHA
This mantra reduces the body heat. Thus, it is a good mantra for fever.
The process of oxygen intake and carbon dioxide excretion will take place wonderfully by chanting this mantra.
Every cell will get required oxygen because the mantra will directly activate the lungs and purifies the blood.
OM HREEM TAHA – Taha means cancel.
Anger inside you
Why the body is hot always? That means there is a lot of anger inside.
Heat means red and red signifies anger. When there is suppressed anger, the whole body would be very hot. It tries to escape from the body.
When there is fire atmosphere, when a lot of fighting happens inside your house, keep chanting OM HREEM TAHA and all will calm down.
Incidents of Fire
While watching TV, if you see a fire accident, you can chant OM HREEM TAHA by looking at the TV scene. Then fire will get reduced. This mantra is a real fire extinguisher.
At the time of a volcano eruption you can chant this mantra.
Taha arrests the anger. We will be able to face the anger and win the anger too.
Is it ok if I choose to chant TOGETHER DIVINE or other switch words or mantra, or is it required I chant any word that crosses my path thrown at me.
Chant any word that crosses my path and thrown at me.
I have been doing this on 2/3 words last week and finding a lot of clarity emerging!! It is amazing!!
And more funnily it reminded me of something similar I used to do when I was a student/teen that I had completely forgotten. I wondered when and why I stopped it and am now thinking about how to revive it.
Thank you for your guidance and wisdom.
Let me tell you a story about Swami Ram Das.
As a person who has given up worldly life, he is supposed to beg for food.
One day, while he was standing in front of a door waiting for somebody to give food, an angry lady threw a dirty cloth at him.
He accepted it gracefully, went home and washed it clean.
Then he tore the clothes and made them as threads to burn a lamp.
Keeping the lady in mind, he then prayed, “Oh Lord, I saw the unhappiness in lady’s angry face. I saw her poverty as she could give me only a dirty cloth. Please alleviate her unhappiness and poverty and make her prosperous”.
What a positive frame of mind the Sage Ram Das had!!!
Like him, whatever is thrown at us, should be used to convert the darkness in our heart with light and love.
